We ended up getting around 7 inches. A little less in some places but everyone got over 5. My rain gauge only holds 5 so I don't know for sure what I got but a neighbor about 5 miles away said he got 7.25. Pretty good shower. Not a soggy spot anywhere hardly. It all soaked in or ran off.

Up here we got an inch. Thankfully that was all we got as I realyl ened some dry conditions but now that I need them you know we won't get them... Oh well, good moisture in thef all generally emans good grass in the spring.

7 inches... I mean really, we would be underwater a lot of places around here... Of course it is worst when we have frozen ground and than it rains an inch or two... Than it is real pretty.

Ok I added a few pictures and put in what they were next to the water and without water........on page 2

We got 5 inches total...lil more in some areas around here yesterday, and then it started rainin again today....from 4pm to 5 pm we got another 1 1/2 inches and it hasn't quite rainin yet.....been pourin the whole time...so all the creeks will be out again in the mornin most likely and everyone will hafta find alternate routes to work. If possible....alot of times when it does this......no one can get anywhere. every road goin out from our lil town has creeks that cross it, and they git outta banks and over the roads.

All the pastures look like they did in the pictures..again...LOL ya might say, "We GOT MUD!!!!"

We don't have anything like you do, Lilly (that would be a year's total
rainfall for us some years~more even than some years) but we have
been getting moisture right along.

We are trying to pour some concrete in front of our new basement.
The forms are in, now waiting for the gumbo there to dry up.
There's a lot of water standing there right now.

But we aren't complaining... :p

Yall be real careful now that it's raining...Last time it rained,we lost a schoolbuss driver. She was on the way to work, way she always went, and was swept away....So far we haven't lost anyone, but there was a lightling strike very close last night>> Didn't think I could jump so high anymore
