Rain, rain go away......

I'll post some pics when I get a chance, maybe tonight, but we've been getting pounded by rain for days now. It'll subside for a few hours, then come again. It's cold, windy and cloudy. We've been luckier than some though. We've heard of folks getting 3-4 inches come down in places in under an hour. Large hail in some areas, thank goodness we've missed that. If we see the sun come out again this summer, our grass is gonna outgrow the calves, though. Remember Nortexsook, gotta look at the glass half full, right?

The other night we had those severe storm warnings and Tornado watch for our town, lingered over for about an hour not a drop of rain, but from our East facing deck we could see you guys were getting hit hard, you "could" share, its not like we're in a differnt county or anything :wink:Seen the hail pics from Lougheed thought you guys must have got some of that,as long as that stays away huh :)

That hail at Lougheed was some of the worst I've ever seen. It was 4-6" deep covering whole 1/4 sections. The crops surprisingly are coming back though the hay is toast.

Well someone can certainly have our rain. It started back in May, and hasn't quit. The hay is a mess, and at least 2 weeks away from first cut, if not longer :(
