To fill in on the discussion about wheat-- this last week it was dry and hot which made for a wild scramble in this area to get the wheat fields cut- but now the rain has moved back in and there are still several left to cut..
Some are baling it and will use for feed- but quite a bit of the combined stuff was of so poor quality (low protein with high dockage) that it was only considered feed grain worth $2-$3 a bushel..
