TTB Those are so pretty!! I love the the Lilly!! So full of blooms! Very very pretty!!! :)

Thank you CC....

That lilly is 3 years old. It is special to us because it was the first plant we bought when we got our house.

It was even prettier before the wind and hail battered it.

Again, thanks,

Some Uber lily you're boarding there! I've never ever seen one so heavy with flowers. Hard to believe one can support so many blooms simultaneously. But it must be growing in 100% cow manure, right?? I have to go get me a cow! :x

Thank you all for complements. I try hard to have a decent yard, but the weeds always seem to be about five steps ahead of me!!! I have big dreams and plans for the rock garden, but those plans and dreams involve a lot of time, and $$$. I'm el cheapo, so it'll be awhile until I am happy with how it looks.

I like how the violas and spiderwort have naturalized in the "lawn" next to the rocks. Most would pull them and call them a weed, me, they didn't cost me much (nothing in the case of the spiderwort) and they're pretty, so their welcome to stay!

nr...I have another lilly of the same species (oriental?) however, it is quite a bit shorter. I don't know if it's because it's a different variety, in a different spot, or because lazy ace was trying to help out by weed whacking...and whacked it right off! Poor guy, trying to help out, and now I'll never let him forget it! :D The big lilly gets no special care...and it probably in the second harshest place, weather wise, it could be around our house. It might do so well, because I think there is quite a bit of sand where it is.

feeder...those osteos are plain weird, but that's why I planted and like them. I'll probably never find them again. Are you coming through anytime soon? If so, know you and Mr. feeder have a place to bunk up.

Again, thanks! Have a great day!
