think this go back more to when Sheep were king in Wyoming , ranch painted their buildings , sheep camps and commissaries a combination of 2 colors .Granddads brothers used white and Forrest green trim, seen black and red, white /red, white /brown and a lot of other combinations. A couple ranches here mix up their own solid color for their barn one Hereford place mixed red and brown for their barns. Just wondering if this happen or is still going in other parts?

In this neck of the woods years ago, the only folks who had a clue what paint was for were the Bohunks. I have full-blooded Bohunk relatives who have every building on the place painted white, with the trim and the roofs being red. Great Husker colors, but they live in Kansas!
My house is a dark shade of red with white trim and a green metal roof. It's Christmas time all the time!
