Reminds me of our elderly neighbor when we lived in SW Montana. He and his wife were just great people. Everyone loved them and called him "Applejack."
We went to visit once evening and it was about 8 pm. It doesn't get dark very early during the summer in that area. It can stay pretty light until close to 11 pm or so. Anyhow, Mr. FH and his mom and dad and I went to see them. They must have already gone to bed, unbeknownst to us. We knocked and waited a bit and pretty soon the door flew open and Mr. Applejack said in kind of a rush, "COME IN. COME IN. TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES! TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES!" Then he quickly shook his head and said, "what am I saying, what am I saying???"

His wife was gone and he got up and put on his clothes in a rush to get to the door.......

 He was embarrassed about that for days.
