Goose Lake
Wild skies over the rodeo arena
A little later, still from a grandstand view
Wild cow milking. My thoroughly thought out question is why, when there are three perfectly good cowboys riding three perfectly good horses, and the object of the game is to get a few drops of milk out of a snorty old range cow, then why in the world don't two of these cowboys just head and heel the old girl, and the third cowboy do the milking? Why does "mugging" have to take place? Both from a participant's point of view, and a spectator's point of view, I think the "heading and heeling" of the cow would be more fun and entertaining. I will now step down from the soapweed soapbox.

Must be a "forum photo." There seems to be both posts and threads in the picture.
