it's ok Jassy. We all get busy ever now n again.

I just wondered how common it was for ranches to have their own semi's....must be more common up there in your country than it is down here.

I missed this topic all together as well. I'll have to dig out my camera.... I don't even have a pic of our semi so couldn't have entered if I wanted to.

Well, it seems to be getting common around here but more for the grain farmers as they are getting tired of having to hire out hauling done.. We don't have need for one personally but if we started farming the ground or went up another couple hundred head I would consider it for hauling my own feed... You gotta run a lot of miles to make one pay for itself, at least theat is my father in laws advice, and he used to run lots of the suckers.

We have our own semi, we got it used last year. It's a 99 International, and a babe magnet :lol:

We really use it enough to justify it, but it may not be useful enough for some farms to pay for it.
