Very nice Jassy. I know its the toughest season for cold weather calvers but is there anything more rewarding than calving? I can't think of anything I miss more.

Great pictures, Jassy. Usually the geese are a sign of spring, but lately they seem to stay around all winter. I remember back when we lived south of town, the first geese headed north were seen on February 17th. It was always an early and very welcome sign of spring a-comin'. :)

Great shots as always Jassy. Our babies were out runnin and buckin' n playin today when we put out hay. But I'd taken my camera out of my purse and left it beside the computer. I reached for it, but it wasn't there LOL So no cute shots of them today.

When I was a lad ,it was a sure sign of spring when the geese were migrating. The flocks would stretch as far as you could see.The migration would last about 2 weeks and you wouldn't see them till the fall. Now the geese stay all year long. I have to believe it has to do with global warming

Some of the geese are even staying year around here in Texas. I don't know what's different, but something is. If it was global warming, they wouldn't even come to Texas would they ?? :???:
