Reaction to handleing of AZ shooting

I been wondering why all of a sudden they had a Department spokesman talking for the AZ Sheriff Department in place of Dupnik. There was even one Press Conference with the Deputy Sheriff. Then yesterday I heard that someone in AZ put a gag order on the good Sheriff Dupnik due to his opinion filled press conferences. Seems his OPINIONS could have risked both the Federal and State prosecutions cases. This is what you get when the Law Enforcement Officer in charge has a POLITICAL axe to grind and deals in personal opinion verses FACTS.

I also heard there is a move to recall him due to his mishandling of the case. It takes 90,000 signatures and they think it is possible after his actions of late.

I hope the voters especially the Dems that supported him in the last election realize how dangerous HIS RHETORIC was.

Just another hypocritical Lib.

He has had rules for his department for years that state staff/officers are not to give opinions on ongoing cases.

Seems he did not read his own memos.

Clarence Dupnik still angry;

The Pima County Tea Party is planning a Dump Dupnik rally for Jan. 28th.

This rally is to unite the citizens of Arizona against statements made by Sheriff Clarence Dupnik during a crisis for our city, state and country. The shootings that took place at the hand of a lone madman in our city are an assault against all citizens.

Dupnik should have been conducting an investigation and providing a voice of calm for our City. Instead he chose to politicize a tragedy and he needs to be held accountable for the lack of leadership.

Dupnik described the state of Arizona as a" Mecca for prejudice and bigotry."

The Washington Times notes that Dipstick has been successfully elected to office eight times previously but even former supporters are getting sick and tired of him using his office for partisan political bickering instead of actual police work.

Pima County is a very deep blue part of Arizona, it is true, but maybe Sheriff Dipstick has finally put his foot in his mouth one time too many at long last?

I hear Dupnik last target was the inept handling of mentally ill,...

ironic in that it was the liberals / aclu that fought hard to tie the hands of the government in protecting the mentally ill.

The AZ Sheriff needs to be replaced in front of the mic too. Not only did he feel the rhetoric that lead to Palin being blamed by the Left, he was asked if this was a hate crime? and he answer was "aren't they all"? If he doesn't know the difference between a Hate Crime and the actions of a disturbed young man then he should not be in law enforcment and sure should be in front of a mic when he can not stop from showing his bias opinions. He talks about the dangerous rhetoric and his press conference was feeding it from the very first minutes

I posted before that I was very upset by what I heard the Sheriff was spewing in the first press conference and now I've heard something that has to make you think. The first thing the Sheriff did was try blame this mess on ring wing political rhetoric WHY? This young man was disturbed, I doubt anyone is going to deny this fact. BUT the fact is he had had previous encounter with this Sheriff. But the Sheriff did nothing to see to it he got some kind of help. He was not put on a watch list even though people including his College professor feared him and felt he was a danger. Nothing was put on his record so he would be further investigated when he went out and bought the gun or ammunition he used in this horrible crime. WHY? Is the Sheriff distracting the issue to Political rhetoric so nobody looks into his failure to act? Just something to thing about.

I'm glad the good Sheriff was removed from the mic, but I fear it was far to late for his and the nations good. AND I guess the answer to my Jan 10th question is a big fat YES . Let's just hope that Law Enforcement past and present have learned a lesson about using Opinion to distract from the FACTS.
