Our Constitution gives me the right to DISagree and to speak my mind. I'm doing that. And you know what? Americans all over the country agree with me, not you. 70% say they DISapprove of the way Bush is handling Iraq. 70%! You can't get 70% of us to agree on much of anything. I've never called anyone unpatriotic like you Bush bullies. You seem to be under the impression that you and your ilk represent American. You don't. You're the very minority of our society that say it's OK to invade another country, destroy people's lives, families, homes just because we're the United States of America. And that's what this blog is about: An Iraqi family, human beings with lives, dreams, hopes and how they've been destroyed by George W. Bush's war. You say it's OK to hold Americans without trial or an attorney indefinitely. You say it's OK to ignore the Geneva Convention, even though it's our soldiers who may some day pay the price for that. You say it's OK to evesdrop without a warrant. I strongly DISagree with all those stands and don't mind saying so. I'm so heartened that the Supreme Court found against Bush in the recent case. I'm so excited to see the Dems embraced by the American voter again, not just in a few states, but over most of the country. The South is still Red, but we'll get there soon. As sad as it is, as more young southern men die in Iraq, we'll get there sooner.
The fact that all you can do is insult me and have absolutely nothing to offer in support of this war, shows exactly how shallow your "arguments" for the war are. There are no real arguments to be made for this war. It was built on arrogrance, lies and misrepresentations; it was bound to fail. Saddam had no way to invade us. All this ignorant talk about being forced to learn Arabic is just ignorant. Al Qaida has no way to invade us, attack us, yes. Saddam had no way to invade us. But Bush can and is putting this country more at risk every day by squandering our money and blood in Iraq.
