"A rather peaceful scene" is my new desktop background, just gorgeous :D . Your calves look fantastic, and I hope the rest of your fall work goes smoothly.

Glad you like the picture. We decided to sell all the steers and keep all the heifers for now.

They also had a prescribed burn near Sundance, WY yesterday. That smoke was headed your way too! Drove past it on my way home from work in Gillette, WY and it sure looked like a big one. Very nice pictures, I always enjoy looking.

some good pics again, with good captions.
several of the pics and stories here at Ranchers.Net bring back a favorite memory.i enjoyed the pics #4 and#5 of the little cowboy.

i to spent alot of time as a young lad in the salebarn.my father was a clean shaven man as i noticed my first mennonite/amish man sitting in the front row next to the sale ring.
dad always told the story how the Amish man with the long white beard picked me up and put me on his knee.then in my couriosity i reached up and give it a yank to see if it was real.almost stopped the sale!

keep the pics a come'n,i enjoy your camera

I love it that Greg and the guys at the sale barn are all wearing their straw hats on the 21st of Oct. What a great fall we are having.
