That is still on the sign anyway. It will always be the McMurtrey Ranch to those who knew ol' Hub. :wink:

Ranchy, if that sign is where I think it is, the nearest town of significance is Valentine which is probably 50 miles the opposite direction from that point. Soapweed, is there a little lake right there where we used to catch Bluegill? Is that Broken Box a fella by the name of Adamson?

Yup.

Some of the best ranch country in the world is down along that road that we traveled. It's quite a ways off the beaten path, and even salesmen are not too much of a bother. :wink:
