Cold December days
Cold cows eating their fill
Still some feed under the blanket.
Roll on January - picked over pretty good on the open parts
January 2nd time to start feeding - they wouldn't come to a shout so I had to go hunt them out of the bush. They are getting a 60% silage ration delivered every second day now and continue to graze for the rest of their feed.
Chinook arch at daybreak - we have actually been above zero today, +3C for 24 hours now. Probably 12 degrees below Per but it's as close to a chinook as we ever get.
A beautiful day to check cows - some finding grass among the buckbrush
An Angus choosing to rustle among some thistles
Looking on the bright side
One from the dark side
