Uhggg this was a hard one to photograph. It's my first "official" time being "the" photographer. I've taken pictures at weddings, but never have been asked to take pictures specifically for the bride and groom. They are relatives, but still...it was awkward. They were married in Vegas in June. Just now having a reception. And....well.....they didn't "dress up" for it. So it was so hard making the photos look like "real" reception photos. And not just someone snappin pictures. I was really worried. The place they chose wasn't all that great, the lighting was horrific. So....here's a few photos. Some are before and after editing. Some are just the result of lots of editing LOL....
Tell me what ya thank...did I do ok? Do they look even half way "professional"??? They haven't seen them yet. And this is my gift to them, I'm not gettin paid for this, but still want it to look nice for them.
Here's a few.
Strait out of the camera shot of the cake. The light was hidious. There was a window with a red curtain behind the cake, and the sun was shinin in thru it.
After editing it.
This lil girl got up and sang. Just one of the guests kids. She was so cute.
After editing.
And a couple collages. The "wedding photo" in the background is one that was on their guest table in a frame. I took a picture of the picture. LOL
