Record Temperature!

This morning in Montgomery, Alabama the temperature was a record setting 19 degrees. The last time it was this cold here on this date was 1886.

Baby calves loved it. They all kicked up their heels after the morning meal. Had their tails straight up in the air and racing around. Fun to watch.

I'm not complaining either. Much better than 35-40 degrees, windy and raining.

Glad to see you enjoying the fresh weather Mike. It was OC here today, up from 40 below a couple of days ago. I hate to complain, but it sure does make the backroads slippery and the highways sloppy.

After yesterdays near 40's today really felt cold when it only got to about 10...Was 2 below when I went up north by the border to pick up a couple of cull cows to haul to the sale this afternoon...

Temps down to 5 Below now with a predicted low of 10 Below- but then supposed to warm up near 30 tomorrow and be in the 30's and 40's for the next 7-10 days.... :D

Brrr! It's cold one here this morning. It's presently -17. The sun is starting to come up and it's supposed to hit 30 today. We only got a trace of snow with that clipper that went thru yesterday. Cattle will be slow coming to feed today. They'll be standing along the creekbanks soaking up the sun. Can't wait for that warm up this weekend!!! :D

It was 19 zelow bero earlier this morning. The weather prognosticators are still talking nearly 40 above for here before the day is over. I'll believe it when I see it.

That was a nifty picture of the red sky and cows that you posted a few days ago. It's just too bad that beauty like that is generally followed by a windy miserable day.
