We have only ever showed one other bull before, so you can see we are not in that business. But we raised this bull and I think he is as good of and as classy of a bull we have ever raised, so we are taking him to the Denver Stock Show in January. He is out of one of our top cow familes, and a son of WR Mr. Red Dawg 5335

He was born same as the rest of our herd in May. He was weaned in Oct. and wintered with all the other bulls to gain 2 lbs a day. (He did better than the rest though) We then turned him and all the other bulls on grass early May. Then in mid September all of the bulls were pulled off grass and put in a lot to get ready for our sale. About October 20th we pulled him from the group and put him wth some bred heifers that will be in a sale next Monday. He was getting fed the same ration as the other bulls but with alot less competition. It was Loomix liquid feed, dry distillers grain , and ground hay. I don't know the total pounds, my brother would know though. Then on Nov 17 he left our ranch and went to the guys who will be showing him and I don't know what they are feeding him

No he did not breed any cows this summer, but next summer he will see alot of cows in both of the spring and summer herds.

Yes, we are selling 40% semen interest in him at Denver and 10% semen interest in him at our bull sale Feb. 3
