Redistribution May Take Awhile to Catch On With Workers

Redistribution Plan may take a while

Yesterday on my way to lunch at, I passed one of the homeless guys in that area, with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money."

Once in the restaurant my waiter had on an "Obama 08" tee shirt.

When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter and explained to him while he had given me exceptional service, that his tee shirt made me feel he obviously believes in Senator Obama's plan to redistribute the wealth. I told him I was going to redistribute his tip to someone that I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. He stood there in disbelief and angrily stormed away.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $3 and told him to thank the waiter inside, as I had decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy looked at me in disbelief but seemed grateful.

As I got in my truck, I realized this rather unscientific redistribution experiment had left the homeless guy quite happy for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn.

Well, I guess this redistribution of wealth is going to take a while to catch on, with those doing the work.

Let's hope that restaurant doesn't fail financially, especially if its a restaurant chain, because the ceo's will probably get a bailout from the taxes paid in by the waiters and customers. Yeah redistribution may take a while for everyone to like.

Yep- Texasbred and others like him prefer the Bush/Repub redistribution of wealth plan better---give mine and their taxdollars to the fatcat CEO's so they can make their $10 million a year salaries and $40 million dollar golden parachutes- while taking all their top employees to lavish spa resort "retreats"...
And its a much bigger redistribution of wealth- than any I've heard from any of the Dems...

Hell OT, many of those rich fat cats with the golden parachutes are your democrat buddies. As for your tax dollars. I bet you haven't averaged 5% taxes paid in your lifetime. But you'll get your $1000 from the Obama plan even tho you and 40% of the other 95% don't pay any taxes to start with.

That one almost makes me laugh-- or cry-- as just yesterday I got notification that the approximately $10,000 a year I pay on property/land taxes was going up another $1100+ because of all the increased expenses..... That as calf/cattle prices are heading the other way- fastracked to the sewer  :(

I don't need to hear any promises from anyone- because I'm experiencing Bushenomics at its best-and I don't want 4 more years of it with McSame....

Your candidates say it is your patriotic DUTY to pay more taxes. You should be thrilled to share your wealth!

There are opportunities out there to make money with calves. My best customer just bought 29,000 head. I guess you would let him share the wealth with you, huh?

Nope- the irrigation district needs it to meet the cost of the Cheney secret backroom Oil policy that raised our gas/fuel prices by 300-400% the last couple years and all the material costs that raised accordingly...

At least you own enough land to justify that amount of property taxes. Maybe after Obama redistribes the wealth you won't have that problem. By the way, property taxes are "Local and state taxes". Don't blam Bush, he allows you to deduct those taxes from your FIT return.
