Reid and Bundy

Reid is one of the most, if not the single, most corrupt individual in Congress...and the left, like OT, continue to support him.

And all this is based on the false science of "global warming", which if you do not believe in, you are called a "science hating/stupid" individual.

Nazism, pure and simple...they will confiscate your property, if you do not believe in their false science...but, at least you still have the right to own that property, unlike the Communists...

Here is another conspiracy story- and this one doesn't seem to include Reid...

The thing that gets me about all these conspiracy theories-- in order to have worked 20 years getting Bundy off his ranch- you would need to have crooked Interior Secretary's and BLM officials from Clinton, GW, and Obama all involved... :???: Tough for me to buy...

How long has the buffalo commons been in the works OT?
27 years- originated in an essay written by a husband/wife team of professors in 1987 ... Do you think Reid was behind that one too? or Obama?

But for now that is mostly being done by capitalism... The buffalo folks putting up more money than any of the neighboring ranchs can afford and buying these retiring guys out...
But even that has caused hate and discontent... One of the last guys up there toward the Canadian line that sold to an out of state outfit (that everyone believes is tied to the buffalo folks) didn't give the neighbors a chance to buy first (probably couldn't anyway because of the whores price he got) and now doesn't have a friend left in the county... Was turned into a Leper overnight...

Its just a fact that the country is much more populated by people that want to use "public" land to recreate, hunt, fish, view wild animals- then there are ranchers... And even many in Agriculture (mid west/east) don't believe ranchers should be "subsidized" by being able to hold cheap leases on "public" land... Even locally - Agriculture slowly loses its importance in the area.... Many ranch/farm owners don't have long term ties to their places... Don't like it- but its a fact...

Oldtimer who is giving the money to buy up the land for the buffalo commons? Where does the Nature Conservancy get its money? Yes I can blame it on Obama and Reid (you blame everything on Bush), it is their and your liberal friends which cause this to happen.

Yep- the Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, American Prairie Foundation, etc. all get their funds from donations-- many of which come from the bunny huggers and greeny weenies that are more apt to be liberals or Democrats... Many of these come from wealthy capitalists like the Mars family of candy fame or family trusts like the Ford foundation, Pew Charitable Trusts, Rockefeller Foundation, Turner Foundation, Bullitt Foundation of Washington State, etc., etc. ...

And I guess if knowing or having friends and acquaintances that are Democrats or liberals makes me guilty of helping cause this - so be it-- as I won't remove the welcome mat to them just because of a difference in politics- the same as I wouldn't remove it to those ranchers that sold out their principles to the almighty dollar in their aid of the Nature Conservancy... To me that takes an awful shallow person to do that !

But it doesn't bother you to run down your tea party friends or republican friends. I just don't understand your way of thinking.

I've never ran a friend down because of their politics- I might disagree with them and tell them so- but have always respected their right to have their opinion...

One thing that has always got me is how people complain (and rightly so) about land being bought up by NC and other greenies but who is it selling to the highest bidder if it is not a lot of ranchers. Does anyone hold the rancher responsible for this, nope they say their congrats for the good sale and the blame the buyer. On the other hand some complain about greedy oil companies and how they are abusing the land and they support efforts to curb their activities due to GLOBAL WARMING. BUT when those Big Greedy Oil Companies come around buying up oil leases do they say no thanks, no they take the money and run to the bank just like the ranchers selling out to the highest bidder. People are funny

Well- Teabaggers is what they called themselves for quite some time...The first time I saw them was the time about a half dozen were standing around in front of the Courthouse with their Teabag posters... A couple even wore signs designed to look like a Teabag....

So, here's the plan. On April 1, 2009, all Americans are asked to send a TEABAG to Washington, D.C. You do not have to enclose a note or any other information unless you so desire. Just a TEABAG. Many cities are organizing protests. If you simply search, "New American Tea Party", several sites will come up. If you aren't the 'protester' type, simply make your one voice heard with a TEABAG. Your one voice will become a roar when joined with millions of others that feel the same way. Yes, something needs to be done but the lack of confidence as shown by the steady decline in the stock market speaks volumes.

I remember the day quite well- as we were hauling cattle and had to go by the Post Office several times-- and later when we were having a toddy and talking about the few people that turned out- everyone was calling them the Teabaggers...
