I say let him wear it... as you know LJ,,. you have the right to make a fool of yourself any time you want..

but then when it comes to rights and religion I tend to try to adhere to mine, and respect others,.. as long as they are not hurting anyone else...

as for the religious right... if a person refuses to not take off a scarf, turban, hijab, niqab, .. colander, ect.. then it should be an all or nothing situation... either they wear it all the time.. or they follow the law like I do..

"......... if a person refuses to not take off a scarf.........."

I seldom let a person refusing to not do something get my dander up. Personally, I don't think it's any of my business.

it isn't any of my business either.. it is the law.. and I support upholding laws..

as for dander,...I want my religious rights protected,.. and often that protection comes in the form of laws.. if someone abuses the law(and is a hypocrite), then less folk are willing to support or defend the law..

just as it is your right to support nuts, defend lawlessness, and hypocrites, it is also your right to be a fool..

and I would defend your rights as long as you are not breaking laws or hurting others.

just having fun, steve---if they got a right to wear a turban, they got a right to wear a lampshade--or a colander.

and the 'refusing to not'----hell, I don't even know what that means.
