Our garden the end of July and still looking green due to unusual August weather here. I tried to download other pictures but photobucket is taking an hour to download one! Anybody else having problems with it?

What gorgeous flowers!!!!!!! That pic reminded my of my long-gone great aunt's yard. They lived right on the river, and had lots of water to grow things with, where we didn't. Our well usually went dry every summer, and that was just from using for the house and watering a few critters at the corral. I really don't remember a summer that we didn't have to haul water for house use. Always had to haul water for the cattle, it was our summer job.

I put 7 pics in photobucket yesterday about this time, and it was super fast. I don't remember ever loading pics in that short of time before. Maybe I got all the speed yesterday, and just left the slow for you.....sorry.

Some fine looking flowers. Nice to see colorful flowers this time of year without them being noxious weeds. Now if you could just post their scents along with the picture.....

The Autumn Clematis, butterfly bush and phlox smell like warm honey right now. I've got plenty of noxious weeds to share in case you run out!

Thanks for posting the photo of your great garden, nr.

I'm jealous. If I didn't have creeping jenny in my 'lawn', I wouldn't have ANYTHING green!

I was at a conferene today for some biological farming thing (whatever the heck that means) and people commented on how they don't remember the last time it was this green in mid August.. Than it started raining again, just some drizzle... Amazing what above average moisture will do, even if we do get some hot days tossed in..

Oh what a wonderful flower garden...that'll sure make ya want to get up in the morning and admire. I did have some flowers that survived the puppy stages, and then this last week as I was choosing ones for the fair, we had 4 storms of very high winds and a little hail and hard rain...so there went my flowers  Oh well thanks for posting yours so I could enjoy em...
