Remember the "do-nothing" congress?

Apparently The King has given them new life. :lol:

The inquest into the IRS is just the latest in a string of GOP-led investigations suddenly gaining steam on Capitol Hill. Instead of negotiating with the White House, GOP lawmakers are now investigating it.

There are currently five separate committee investigations into the attack on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, and a probe into Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius raising millions of dollars to promote Obamacare. Ways and Means is demanding answers to seven questions on this matter, as well.

“The speaker and other House leaders have been clear: Effective, responsible oversight is a key constitutional responsibility of Congress,” said Michael Steel, Boehner’s spokesman. “Whether the topic is the truth about Benghazi, thuggish political attacks from the IRS or the ‘train wreck’ of the president’s health care law, we will keeping fighting to make sure the American people know the truth.”

Not that it'll matter at this point. Sort of like whizzing on the ashes. Thanks libs. Fine job putting the assclown in office. :mad:

Any other Amerikan citizen with so much controversy swirling around him would be wise to watch the skies for a drone attack, but then we're not 100% sure this assclown is an Amerikan citizen. :D

We aren't talking about Bush here (after all, he is no longer the President);
we are talking about Obama--the worse president ever.

Perhaps you can say something good that Obama has done. If you can, lets hear it.
Otherwise, maybe Bush can be left out of the conversation, if you wouldn't mind.

:lol: A classic liberal response: He did it too! :lol:

I'm dying to know, which scandals weren't fully investigated by Congress and while you're at it, which stories failed to receive coverage by the MSM?

Hit a nerve???? :) Obama has done several things I don't like. Such as trying to change the hike in Soc. Sec. based on a different formula. Yes he has given in way too much to the Rep.'s . Asking for just $9.00 hr minimum wage several state laws already require more. I like the fact though that under Obamacare most everyone is going to have to pay something instead of freeloading, of course there will still be freeloaders but fewer of them. I might add my insurance premiums have increased the smallest amount they have in yrs.

If you hit a nerve, it was only one nerve, because it gets tiring having people bring Bush into a conversation specifically about Obama.

You may have missed WhiteWings question in regards to your post stating
"I'm so glad we had that effective responsible oversight under the Bush administration, yeah great job they did during those 8 yrs."

Just in case you did, here is WW's question again:

"I'm dying to know, which scandals weren't fully investigated by Congress and while you're at it, which stories failed to receive coverage by the MSM?"

Everything was covered, from "our economy is on sound footing"; WMD's; signing the Pharma sponsored drug bill which dictated the price of drugs to Medicare thus the taxpayers, and finally the financial meltdown (which I blame both parties for) just a few to think about I guess.
