You have a new president.

He campaigned on the premise of change.

He promises to redefine your nation.

Your nation may well gain a new identity.

Perhaps, then, it deserves a new name.

How about -

If that is what it would take to get the racist wingnuts to move somewhere else, I'm all for it.

I am trying to understand the difference between the charge of racism and the powerfully strong dislike you and some others on here show toward the people with whom you disagree.

I was under the impression that a new name was already decided on by the leaders of the New World Order (ie, the UN, Canada, Mexico, and the US Government):

North American Union (NAU)

Now you want to changed it again? :???: What about all those people that already have the new letterhead in stock?

Painting "BOB" (black owned business) on your store front in Los Angeles precluded it from being vandalized during the LA riots. I see that as racist.

When blacks were kept out of major league baseball in the U.S. before Robinson, it was all across the U.S. Not the south only. The most racist white people I have ever worked with were from Boston.

The most racist people I see are the blacks on television.

I don't understand your point.

Exactly. It would be really good if you could. I think you are capable if you have the desire.

No, I'm being sincere when I say I am not picking up the point. I've read it a couple of times.

If burnt would (or you) would explain, I'll gladly respond.

We are expending energy arguing amongst ourselves without accomplishing a whole lot other than further division.

Do you have a sibling? Are you and that sibling exactly alike? You came from the same parents. Are your children exactly alike? Do they fight because one has hair longer than the other? Do they wind up with hatred in their heart because of it?

Can we put aside our differences or can we keep offending one another? We may be more alike than different.

If our neighbors grass catches on fire and we put it out before it takes out his barn, can we feel good about doing something good together even tho we are different.

Well, it seems to me that there is not too much difference between belittling someone based 0n the colour of their skin or because of their political views. Or for any other reason. Having said that, I immediately am forced to admit that I am as guilty as the next guy of doing that where it suits me.

It seems to me that the term "racism" singles out a form of hatred that is deemed more repugnant than the "ordinary" type of dehumanization such denigrating someone because their way of thinking differs from mine.

I don't think we help ourselves as fellow countrymen or citizens of the human race by hatefully acting out our dislike of our differences in any way that belittles the other.

Maybe I didn't make it any clearer.
