"There is no recession. It's all in your mind. There is no recession. It's all in your mind. There is no recession......" And stop whining.

Wall Street sank further into a bear market Friday, as investors dumped stocks on troubles at mortgage companies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and oil's continuing climb into record territory. The Dow Jones industrials slid below the 11,000 mark for the first time in two years before paring their losses.

I think its going to have to take a lot of repeating to convince all those folks selling (or no saling) their calves on Superior today- when they are being offered $200 less than what they probably got last year- and know their expenses have all went up exorbitantly...

Yep- McCain have your future Treasury Secretary tell those folks that its all in their mind- and they are just whiners.... :(

You point slid below the 11,000 mark for the first time in TWO YEARS. Do you not get it that the market goes up and goes down. It went below 11,000 and no recession happened 2 years ago.

I am not saying we will not end up in a recession. The economy goes in cycles just like the weather does. Clinton came into office with a recession and then left a recession.

You really need to quit thinking about subjects you have no understanding of, it gets that mind of your spinning to fast.
