Republican candidates for President

Would those of you supporting a particular Republican candidate take time to tell me why you're supporting him? (That's so easy. I don't have to type him/her  ) Let's see if there are any serious political people on this board that can give reasons to support one of the Republican top tier contenders that don't include bashing Hilliary. From my view, the top Republican contenders are Rudy, Fred, McCain, maybe Mitt and Ron Paul. I hear that Tancredo is going to drop out soon. Thanks.

FF,

There is no intelligent reasoning on this board with the given few liberals who try to run it. No need to bother with logical explanation. Commensurate with that, let me just say I am going to support hanging on to my long term savings and investments. Democrats want to punish the successful and tax everything away that I invested through the years. Heck, if one of them gets elected, I may as well have spent it all myself - on worthy causes.

The time is as ripe as it gets for a third party candidate. Don't know of a better time in my life time.

Not sure exactly who I am supporting as of yet, but it won't be Hillary or any of her cohorts. You can take that to the bank.

Duncan Hunter. He has strong Christian values, recognizes the hosing we allow others to inflict on is in trade, the problems with the UN, supports a mandatory balanced budget, no special treatment for gays, rejection of treaties that infringe on our sovereignity, enforce the border, FAIR trade.

I have to make a comment on Hillary. Do her supporters have any memory at all? Have they forgotten all the shady crap she and Bill were involved in?

(That's so easy. I don't have to type him/her Laughing )

yep , that comment sure made for serious debate...??? next time you want serious debate, try not typing everything your thinking..

Let's see if there are any serious political people on this board that can give reasons to support one of the Republican top tier contenders

The only true support for the "top tier" candidates appears to be coming from the liberal media...Not from the "serious political people"...

ff
that don't include bashing Hilliary.

do you mean Hillary aka Hitlery.. see we can do it with out bashing Hilliary,(who the hell is Hilliary anyways, and why would we bash her,..other then that her name is spelled funny)

ff
From my view, the top Republican contenders are Rudy, Fred, McCain, maybe Mitt and Ron Paul.

I see that to get your view you listened to the liberal media and not the serious political people...

ff
I hear that Tancredo is going to drop out soon.

I said that months ago... now the liberal media says it and you hear it...??? why? didn't I type it loud enough?? Trancredo yelled and the media ignored him.. he had a good message, but was unable to get any one in the liberal media excited about him.. they like Rudy... and are going to ignore the rest..

My vote will count and I will not vote in the primaries for any of the top tier candidates...

ff

your welcome..

Maybe we need a thread on Duncan Hunter. to debate why he is not a top tier candidate in ff's view???

and he wants:,..Criminal penalties for e-mail spamming. That alone is enough to get my vote....

I'm supporting Paul-- because he is one of the only true conservatives, most of his campaign support has come from individuals (in under $200 contributions) meaning he's not in bed with every Corporate entity that beckons-- and the fact that almost 50% of the campaign donations donated by the military personnel is going toward him.....

Conservative Index
New American Magazine ‘‘The Conservative Index” rates congressmen based on their adherence to constitutional principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, national sovereignty, and a traditional foreign policy of avoiding foreign entanglements. Preserving our Constitution, the freedoms it guarantees, and the moral bedrock on which it is based is what the word “conservatism” once meant — and how it
is being applied here.

The average House score for this index (votes 31-40) is 48 percent;
the average Senate score is 53. Two congressmen earned perfect
scores of 100: Walter Jones (R-N.C.) and Ron Paul (R-Texas).

We encourage readers to examine how their own congressmen
voted on each of the 10 key measures as well as overall.
We also encourage readers to commend legislators for their conservative
votes and to urge improvement where needed. For congressional
information go to:

IF I planned to be Rep. (       ) I'd say I'd go with Paul also.

He just seems to say the most sensible things and really believes what he says.

Overall...he seems like a good man. Makes ya wonder why he wants to get tangled up in the mess of running for President!!!

I guess I am not a serious Political person, because I do not really like any of them that much. So voting against Hillary would be my biggest motivation to vote. Sometimes you just have to vote against the worse of the two evils and really not be supportive of any of them.

Sorry for breaking the Hillary bashing rule.
