Tea party group pictures Rove in Nazi uniform

By KENNETH P. VOGEL | 2/19/13 1:04 PM EST Updated: 2/19/13 1:43 PM EST

A top tea party group is taking its clash with Karl Rove to a new level, sending out a fundraising email Tuesday featuring a photoshopped image of the GOP operative in an SS uniform.

“Wipe the Smirk Off Karl Rove’s Face,” reads the subject line of the email, from Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder and national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots.

The email features a photo illustration in which Rove’s face is grafted onto a photo of a uniformed officer in the Reichsführer-SS, an elite class of soldier in the German Schutzstaffel during Adolph Hitler’s Third Reich. The lower left-hand corner of the photo features the inscriptions “Reichsführer-SS” and “K. Rove,” and appears to match a photo of SS Reichsführer Heinrich Himmler.

Dems may end up with total control of all Congress in 2014- and they won't have to spend a dime.... The Repubs are already falling all over themselves telling folks how terrible they themselves are...

The childish and archaic ideas and actions of the Tea Party's could be what leads to the R party going the way of the dinosaurs.....

If only the democrats would be so honest about the ongoings in their own ranks. But they prefer to suck up to their own messiah at the cost of representing the people.

OT used to not like the "establishment Repubs.", now he is defendingg them.

Even to the point of quoting Mcsame :!:

If I was a cynic...I would think OT doesn't want things to change, within the Republican party.

They're not conservative enough, they're too conservative, both parties are the same, we need leadership in congress, we need bipartisanship, the party of NO, they won't work together, they work together against the common man and for their big donors, blah blah blah.

Do you think he realizes what a complete and utter ass he appears when he babbles so much bull?

I was wondering if he flips a steak 20 times, before he gets it just the way he likes it...

Republican supporters must have an endless pit of money-- if they think there is enough to finance PACs and continuous ideological battles amongst themselves-- and then still be able to come up with enough to challenge the Dems.... :???:

It does not look like the R Party learned one thing from the last campaign and elections... Maybe some of those pundits that said that if Obama won the Dems would control the White House for the next 20 years will be right....
President Hillary Clinton is looking more likely....

Dems spend more money on political campaigns than Repubs do. The thing Repubs. do differently is that they spent their money on differenting "cults", unlike the Dems.

Hillary is done politically. she's on the speaking circuit now. She's going to become one of the top .0025% like her husband. She'll probably pay little to no income tax on the income and you will still be chasing Romney, but not Gore, for tax revenue.

Hey OT, maybe you should have read the 2nd page of that article you quoted...

“We did not know about or approve a manufactured image added to a recent email from the Tea Party Patriots. It was added by an outside vendor. The image was inappropriate and we have ordered the vendor to immediately cease further use of the image,” co-founder Jenny Beth Martin said in a statement.

The group said it had requested a specific image of Rove thumbing his nose, but that the third party vendor mistakenly used the Nazi image from an online slideshow:

The email vendor, Active Engagement, said it takes full responsibility for the mistake.

“It was a mistake that we made. It was not a mistake that went through Tea Party Patriots,”
J.D. Norman, a partner at Active Engagement, told POLITCO, adding that his firm handles “tens of millions of emails over the course of a month or so for each independent client.”

I have to ask the question OT, why do you give a fat rat's ass what the pubs do or don't do? You don't care, and we both know it.

You bend over and grab your fat little ankles for whoever is in power and represents true government leadership in that bullshyte world you live in.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I believe the days of truly conservative candidates winning national elections are OVER. The country is rapidly changing, for the worse, and you should feel proud that you did your part electing the worst president ever to semi-serve in the office.

So STFU about wishing the pubs would do this or that to better their party. No one here believes a word you say about the subject.
