"I'm not on board yet. I want to see this thing," Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Alabama, said. "What I don't like about this -- and I'm very, very worried about it -- I think this is probably the greatest concession of legislative power in the history of the republic, almost."

Right on Senator- you gave most of the legislative/judicial power to Bush 6 years ago...Thats one of the reasons we're in the mess we're in....

I'm getting a chuckle out of these Repubs...Now they found out what a crook and liar King George is, they're questioning little things like "concessions of legislative power" and rubber stamping of Trillion $ expenditures and endebting our kids and grandkids ....

Too bad they didn't start doing this 6-7 years ago :( :( :(

Senator Judd Gregg (R) just held a short press conference and said they have received word that entire US credit system has essentially frozen up- and that if they don't pass this by Monday- on Monday when industry goes to/calls their lending institutions to get commercial paper (operating notes) to make payroll and the such--- it won't be available...

And he said they have no idea- and don't even want to imagine- what the stock market will do :???:
