Revisit shorthorn guy with some pictures

Shorthornguy lives a few miles from my daughter, so we went over yesterday and enjoyed their gracious hospitality. I took a few pictures, and wish I had taken some of his handiwork. For instance their home had a stainglass window he had made. Their towel racks and toilet paper holder were fashioned from Whitetail antlers. He had made a nice railing from Birch logs. A very talented builder.

This is a hay meadow with some color in the background. He said they had seen a wolf near the spot I was standing a few days before.

Every day he moves this hot wire over about 15 feet to provide fresh grass for his stock.

Is it just my computer? I only get a box with a red x in it, I right click on the x, click on show picture, still won't show the picture :cry2:

I have the pictures! Very nice cattle, jealous about the amount of grass though! I use the 4 ft step in posts for the grazing hotwire they work well and are quickly moved to the new position.

Yup, at least it works for me. Great set of photos. Thank you Shortgrass.

Those cows are looking at their caregiver with a rather expectant air about them . . . seems to come with strip grazing or rotational grazing. They can be in pretty good grass and when they see you open the gate or move the wire - here they come!
