My sister is heading for AZ. She was wondering what's happening in the Dakota's and south towards Denver.

Any storms or what not?

Thanks :D

Yea. my sister and her husband are traveling with another lady for company. They are staying a couple of weeks then flying home. I think my sister is flying back down later to help the lady get home.
A nose twitch or something would be handy if they could switch places.

Have you heard of any storms or bad roads down your way?

Forecasts for Denver area this morning didn't sound too great for travelers. I think they were talking inches of snow in that area, and moving east/northeast. But on Rapid City radio, they talked like there wouldn't be a lot in the northern Black Hills.

Sure hope not. I've got doc appoints in RC on Monday and am tired of having those 'special' road conditions every time I have to go there! Maybe we can beat the weather by going tomorrow and taking our family there out for supper to celebrate the 5 year olds' birthday a little late. If she didn't have too much fun at her swimming pool birthday party with friends today, that is!

They are just now giving the weather and road reports on radio KOA, 850 on the AM dial, in Denver and sounds like 1" to 3" inches or more each of the next few days, through Monday, anyway, for that general area. Talk like the traffic is moving fairly well right now, tho. Think they said highs in the upper 30's, but maybe that was wishful on my part, as I'm not certain, now, what was actually said.

My Nebraska relatives just reported in from Green River, Wyoming. They said the roads weren't too bad where they traveled today (they stayed in Mesquite, Nevada last night). It looks like quite a bit of slick roads across Wyoming, Colorado, western Nebraska, and western South Dakota, from what I can gather looking at the internet, and these roads will probably get worse before they get better.
