Got some greens going here buddy! We cook up this pot full about once week during winter. Just go past the airport in Montgomery and you can smell 'em!

Collards :???: Do you cook them and then eat them or what :???: Plain or mixed into some type of salad or what :???: Looks like lettuce to me....

Nice....But were da chitlins!!!!!!!!!!

Got a neighbor down the road that has a stainless pot about that big. Cooks up collards and chitlins a couple times a year for da 'hood!!! YUMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! :D

Collards are a little like lettuce, dark green but full of flavor. Throw a few hamhocks in the pot with some water and collards then boil them down.

Cornbread and hot peppersauce is a must.

I don't be liking me no chitlins. Had to eat too many as a kid......... :shock:

I wanna see the iron skillet he uses to cook the cornbread in that goes with a mess of greens that big :wink:

I love collard greens. But the best part is the pot liquer and corn bread when all the greens is gone.
