Vote%
Romney 43%

Gingrich 25%

Paul 19%

Santorum 12%

Considering he won Nevada in 2008 with 51% and there was less voting this time around has he strengthen his support in a State known for their Morman population?

The networks have called the race. The GOP presidential candidates have delivered their speeches and left the state.

And, still, party officials in Nevada's largest county continue to count the vote.

With just half of the vote counted, officials have already discovered some discrepancies. In some precincts, the number of ballots did not match the number of voters who signed in to participate in the caucus.

State party secretary Jim DeGraffenreid said they are still determining "the facts" and then will decide how to proceed, but acknowledged the ballots from those precincts may be dumped from the results.

Caucuses are a hotbed for corruption. Votes can be changed, tossed, or miscounted at almost any time in some caucus settings.

There's one problem that has emerged, Clark County has not released it's votes. An important largely populous county home to Las Vegas is not reporting?

With 94% of the votes unreleased

maybe it is time for the caucus states to let everyone have a vote ...
and for that ballot to be cast without worry.

at one point long ago a caucus made sense.. but today?

I read an article that Nevada had so many problems this year they are thinking of going to a Primary ballot. They have discussed the option but the expense was the hold up. It was however suggested that the candidates pay to have their names on the ballot and the state use the money collected to pay for the new system. Might work but you have to wonder if those candidates that paid to get on the ballot then drops out before getting there would be given back their fee or if they would keep all the money whether or not the candidate stays in.

It would be something if Clark County got tossed as that was suppose to be a big Romney county and it might just change the whole results in how the delegates are divided. :?
