It is a new "internet" channel... that won't be on TV... yet?

It may never rival the Oprah Winfrey Network, but former Texas congressman Ron Paul is launching his own round-the-clock television channel, promising all Paul, all the time.

"The future of the media is in our hands!" touts a teaser for the Ron Paul Channel, which will stream at ronpaulchannel.com and be accessible on computers, tablets, and smart phones.

The site's homepage asks supporters to sign up to "be the first to know the details on the full launch . . . coming this summer. Sign up to get exclusive discounts, sneak peeks of content, and more."

It also promises viewers the opportunity to interact with 77-year-old Paul, who ran for president three times as Republican and Libertarian Party candidate, and is the father of Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, who make seek the GOP nomination in 2016.

"This project provides us a wonderful opportunity to spread the message of liberty," Paul says in a promotional video on the site.

The network bills itself as an "exclusive channel to the truth" and touts the slogan, "Turn off your TV. Turn on the truth."

It promises to feature "breaking news stories, interviews with influential headliners, and hard-hitting reporting."

it might not be ready for cable.. or TV yet but even if it isn't on TV it will still get better ratings then Al gore's "al jeers za" and MSNBC

This will be interesting.

This is a new age. No longer will the government, the media, the parties, and public schools be able to control what the people hear. There may be hope.

I was recently reminiscing and watching these moments, in which the direction of US politics began to change. More and more people now believe what he said then, when you weren't supposed to say it.
