Ron Paul: ‘Boots on the ground are coming’

By Peter Sullivan

Former Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) warned voters Tuesday night in a tweet that Republican control of the Senate means "boots on the ground are coming" to the Middle East.

Paul, a former GOP presidential contender, is well know for his anti-intervention foreign policy.

His son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), is leaning toward a presidential bid in 2016 and has been a sharp critic of U.S. policy toward the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Rand Paul has also warned against U.S. intervention abroad, but has also said that he does not share all of his father's views.
Republicans have widely criticized President Obama for ruling out U.S. ground troops in the fight ISIS militants. Republicans need to net six seats to take control of the Senate.

There are already boots on the ground in the Middle East and it's obvious that Buckwheat's air invasion won't do the complete job.

Time to ship those 34 Million Illegals that Buckwheat wants to give amnesty to over there.

Sooner or later, boots on the ground will be necessary to find all the weapons Barry gave to those "moderate Islamists" that have now joined ISIS

I've given more money to Ron Paul than I given to all other candidates combined, but he knows the congress can't put troops anywhere.

Now, it's a fact we need troops to clean up obamas mess, and Obama will use the pubs for political cover.

There are many times I wish the pubs followed Paul's lead, but the DNC has a war on the constitution and constitutional rights

The president outlined a few agenda points to start with, including a $6 billion request for emergency funds to battle Ebola in West Africa and in the U.S., and a congressional authorization to use military force against the Islamic State.

you mean he didn't already have "authorization to use military force against the Islamic State."

Meanwhile he will go Immigration reform on his own, through "administration action", if Reid's Senate bill is not passed.
