Rudy, Rudy, Rudy

Is anyone else noticing what a joke this guy is turning out to be?

He insults the workers at Ground Zero.

The former New York mayor struck a nerve with firefighters and police officers when he said Thursday in Cincinnati that he was at ground zero "as often, if not more, than most of the workers."

When they voiced their objections at that stupid remark (or lie, depending on your feelings about Rudy), he backed off.

Then it was prostate cancer. He claimed the US survival rate for prostate cancer is much higher than in England. But the figures he used seemed to be a bit suspect (what surprise  )

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2007/11/03/giulianis_healthcare_figure_outdated/

Next, not to be outdone when the discussion of torture/waterboarding came up, he claimed
Rudy told Bloomberg TV on Friday, "Intensive questioning works. If I didn't use intensive questioning, there would be a lot of Mafia guys running around New York right now, and crime would be a lot higher in New York than it is."

John McCain had a response to that today
When someone says waterboarding is similar to harsh interrogation techniques used against the mafia in New York City, they do not have enough experience to lead our military,” McCain told a New Hampshire town hall last night.
I think I have to agree with McCain.

And now Rudy is telling potential supporters that his time as mayor of New York City makes him more qualified to be president than two Governors, members of the House and a Senator (with military experience)!

"One of the key differences between me and all my opponents is I've had the safety and security of 8 million people on my shoulders. Being continually tested in crisis situations gives me the credibility and experience to control our borders."

So far Rudy has your support along the liberal medias',...

what he doesn't have is my vote in the primaries....

I'd bet my vote counts more towards the Republican nomination, then a bunch of liberals opinions...

according to your article Rudy is still correct...your odds of beating prostate cancer is still better here then over there on a waiting list... so who is posting misleading data????

the journal Lancet Oncology has released a study showing the five-year American survival rate for men diagnosed with prostate cancer is 99 percent, compared to an average of 78 percent in Europe and 71 percent in Scotland and Wales, with incomplete data for England.

For the United States, the incidence was 136 per 100,000 and deaths were 26 per 100,000 males. For the UK, the incidence was much lower, 49 per 100,000, but the deaths were roughly the same, 28 per 100,000.

I like our 99% a hellovalot better then UK's Scotland rate of 71%... when it comes to a survival rate ...

so ff would you give up a little financial insecurity to be in the 29% who don't make it????

I personnelly would rather be poor then DEAD

I like my primary vote best--- I can decide at the time I vote if I want to vote for the (R's) or The (D's)-- and don't have to be a card carrying cult member to vote for whoever I want....And on top of that all the local races have now been made non-partisan so the (D) and (R) bullsheist doesn't enter into it..... :D :D

Most of our local elections are non-partisan also, but we must declare a party for the primaries...

In the northern part of the state most conservatives register as dem in order to actually have a choice..It has worked fairly well in the New York area,.. as the only choice is what dem is getting in..not what party is getting in...

but in our little conservative county, it was fairly split until this election...

we do have one right that most in this country have ignored, but may be waking to and that is the "write in"... Sure would like to see the look on the "top tier" faces if some one not on the ballot won.... any ideas????
In any election you may "write in" your own choice for a particular office.

with the power in our hands on the internet a "write in" could win....   8)

I just heard on the news-- that some internet site had a "donate to Ron Paul day"-- today -- and claims they have collected $2.7 million dollars in campaign donations

Ron Paul supporters raised $3.5 million today. He has a "Libertarian" tilt, they say. Why can't you support him?

Maybe you missed it,.. I am a conservative Republican,...not a libertarian...

I could easily support Paul, over republican top tier picks, and all dems running for the office,...I agree with many of Paul's views, but not all,
(or should I say,... not to the libertarian level he wants to go to) and some of those are the sticking points..

Of all the Republicans running, I support Duncan Hunter, even though he is not "perfect",..in my view of those running he would do the job best,...

My point was that of all those running, many will be "forced off" by the media and thier showing in the early primaries,...
and some didn't run because of inabilty to get money or party backing...
I propose we all stick to our vote, and if the person is not on the ballot "write them in"...

the end result would be Low votes for "party" and media picks in the primaries...(which don't seem to matter anyways)... but it might get a shake up in the way our politicians are picked..

I answered your question,

now how about mine:
