Russia tells the world on it's newly acquired TV station.. how great they are and how they come in peace.. and everyone is happy they came as they sit around the ol' tanks and sing kumbaya

but it seems they aren't buying it.. not by a long shot.

Russian public opinion is more complex than, and even at odds with, the jingoistic public image coming out of Moscow. VTsIOM, the state-owned pollster, found in a survey released Feb. 24 that 73 percent of respondents though Russia did not need to interfere in the political crisis in Ukraine, and 94 percent did not want the crisis to happen.

94%.. did not want crises to happen.. maybe Putin should respect the peoples views?

but then who could believe a poll put out by a Russian state owned pollster?
