We have to get rid of one of our corgis.
She just killed my son's favorite show rabbit. She got into the pen with him and killed him. That makes 3 rabbits she has killed, now she won't stop.

I really hate having to give her up, but I have not seen my son that devastated since his grandfather died.

I contacted the corgi rescue down in Billings and I am now trying to find her a ride down there to them. I might have found her a ride for this weekend.
I'm sure going to miss her. :(

"To each his own"........but no way would I get rid of a dog for killin a rabbit................good luck

Yep. To each his own for sure.

I got rid of a dog that killed chickens. We did everything to try and
teach him not to do that. We even tied a dead chicken to him and
made him 'wear' it. Nothing worked, so instead of a dog-gone dog,
we just had a gone-dog. :p

Wasn't acceptable when we came home and there were dead
chickens from the house to the creek.

Sometimes, when they get a taste of blood they just won't stop.

Well, that would be the only reason I ever heard of to keep a chicken, neighbors have some bantams that hang around my pens, those are some fast lil boogers,my ole antique cow dog caint catch em like she usta, those things can fly pretty dang fast :D
good luck

Called a friend tonight who knows some people heading to Billings this weekend.
Got a big surprise though, my shoer wants the dog. I'm going to take her over on Friday morning to him. Now I will get to see her ever 6 weeks instead of maybe once a year. :)

You need a mini aussie www.cattleco.com
We had a Corgi a few years ago...nice horse herding dog. He got in a fight with a Goodyear Tire....he lost. He was a great dog!
Love these Mini Aussies......We have shipped them from border to border.
Really good herding bloodlines, but most of the pups end up in non-agriculture environments.
