That would be AWESOME! I am  that you have chiles!

Growing up in SW Colorado/NW New Mexico, there is just nothing like freshly roasted chiles.

When I first moved to North Dakota, I was traveling through the state with some coworkers (who both were native North Dakotans). We passed what looked like to me a big chile roaster like they have in New Mexico. I finally had to ask where a chile roaster would be headed in North Dakota. Come to find out it was a seed cleaner   I think they were amazed I had no idea what I had seen was a seed cleaner. I was plenty embarrassed, but in my life I had seen many more chile roasters than I'd ever seen seed cleaners!

Have a great time hopalong. I am living vicariously through you!

Cheers---

TTB

Love those chilis, can't afford to go out and by them, we grow them. PS this is the 3rd time I've had to log into Ranchers and I lost my last post :-(

Just finished canning 65 pints of chilies, 122 quarts of tomatoes 88 quarts of beans for the local food bank, a group of us get together and have a bbq, while canning on this day every year, every one donates food, money etc to get this done for those of us that are not as fortunate.

Now the band is tuneing up time to do a jig! :D :D :D
