A four-year-old bronc getting whispered to
He was halter broke as a weanling.
And has not been touched since.
Up and over the portable corral panel--not a planned part of the itinerary
He even jumped out a second time,
After the rope was thrown around his neck.
A little eye-to-eye contact
Becoming a bit more trusting and gentle
Getting sacked out with a saddle blanket
The saddle is in place.
A little more ground work
Given further training
Now a young bronc stomper steps aboard
And gets along quite well
Every thing seems to be working as planned. This all was done in an hour, even with the two jump-outs
taken into consideration. We were all duly impressed.
Panel discussion on the brand inspection issue
The president about to turn the job over to the next in line
A couple Ranchers.net aficionados
And another looker who is not registered
Trent Loos gave an inspiring pep talk.
He is a great widely-traveled ambassador for agriculture.
At the trade show later in the day
Here is the very accomplished horse whisperer, 71 years young.
