Unlikely:

If John McCain is not elected president, which one of the following three possible candidates would you be most likely to support for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012?

Mitt Romney 35%

Get used to it, folks, Republicans don't care about your "values", they just want your votes.

Every politician, regardless of party, wants our votes, and I've become convinced that very few of them, regardless of party, care about our values.

As for the poll, who knows? A lot will happen in the next four years that we can't possibly predict right now. After all, who could have envisioned, four years ago, Barack Obama on the verge of the presidency? Either way, I'm glad this ones almost over, and I'm not quite ready to start thinking about the next one just yet.
