Can't tell you much, but one thing I can tell you is, they can't be any worse than the freaking NDP! Sask Party is basically just the old Progressive Conservatives, and I think Brad Wall will be a pleasant change for the new premier of Sask.

Interesting, this is just my opinion mind you,but I think with the future Oil boom Sask. is headed for its prob better the NDP is out of government.I'm not saying the conservs. have done a GREAT job in Alta. but I think a government with the name of the province will for sure have your backs.

I never even knew their was a Saskatchewan Party-- I thought you were talking about the Saskatchewan Marijuana Party-- which I have heard of..

Sounds like this new party carried the rural areas much better than the urban areas (if their is an urban area to Sask  ).....

I can see where someone from Glasgow, MT. would wonder what an urban area is! :???: :???:

Yep-- we are a little rural...I found one of the positives to that the other day--a new orthopedic surgeon is moving here to replace the one that retired....He's really got some top qualifications and credentials....He's been living near Riverside California-- and he and his daughter came up looking for a house- because his wife had to stay- locked in her fortress of a house and yard...He said that if they had all came, their house probably wouldn't be there when they got back...

He couldn't believe it when most folks were telling him how they never lock their doors-- and several people said they couldn't remember or had lost their house keys some time ago....

I'm leaving tomorrow for the big city--Billings (too big a city for me anyway) Need to pick up a few things I can't find here-- and there are 2 bull sales down there on Saturday I want to check out......

We've got a great new administration team being announced..........they're culling out the old admin's political appointments and are pulling in some very talented and capable new people to run the departments. For the first time in nearly 20 years rural Saskatchewan will be represented on the govt. side!
The phone calls are coming in from all over........there's going to be a huge increase in oil and business development over the next term. Sask. may well become the place to be rather than the place everyone came from!
BTW 3 way our Fed. govt has put the long gun registry on the order paper for change. That will be a tough one to handle as the urban areas have control and will fight it.
