Claresholm was supposed to open April 1 and they might have. Of course today you would have to use coloured balls. I found 3 balls yesterday in the calving pasture. (the plowed part) Usually I use a club as a protection tool but yesterday I only had a cane. As for the reason for the question, no golfing here anytime soon even when this rotten storm turns to sunshine. I don't think they have the greens tarps removed on my favorite course yet. I do know all the equipment is serviced and ready to go though.

How much snow have you gotten there today Per ?

It looks like it will miss us, thank goodness as the last time the Calgary area was on a snow fall advisory and we weren't we ended up getting two feet of it .

I'm not too sure how much as much of it is melting and the rest horizontally challenged. It isn't as much here as expected I would guess 6 or 8 inches, some drifting as well. I have moved my portable shelters twice now as the wind changes. I think the foothills were much more blessed with snow. It is a policy not to phone any of my friends during a crisis so I will have to wait to find out.

It has been snowing hard since I posted. Not as much here as west though. I wish I had a load of wood chips. Sun tomorrow, right?
