Schedule F

Not too many years after I got married, I told my wife I felt we needed a good vet, banker, accountant, and maybe lawyer... I still know where to get a good vet's services, I'm back to dealing with a banker, after a few years off; and I'm not sure I believe there is a good lawyer. The accountant's bill is always welcome at this house. We aren't any big-number kind of deal, but that 10 to 1 return is hard to ignore. Spend your $200-$300 and kick back with the knowledge that you just helped buy the newest software. It's kinda like insurance, only cheaper.

Don't be a fool, cheat on your taxes... what was that about a golden rule. Sorry couldn't resist  I have always had an accountant do my taxes {but the more organized I get the more he charges... Go figure} but he really saved me when the IRS audited me so I figure he is worth everything he charges me!

Find a good tax preparer who is a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS and who is up to date on all the tax codes. A qualified tax preparer is well worth the money as they should know all the deductions and how to maximize your return for your benefit.

A good CPA should run you $150-$200 per hour.

Many have a minimum fee of $300....(at least around here)

If I was a betting man, I'd bet that you are a CPA. :-)

Moi??? Wouldn't a CPA be smart enough not to raise Herefords???
