Subject: First Notice - Fall Animal Welfare Judging & Assessment contest
Importance: High

Greetings,

The dates for the 2009 Animal Welfare Judging & Assessment competition
will be November 20 - 22, 2009 and will be held at Michigan State
University.

I realize the dates are not perfect for everyone, but the consensus at
the coaches' meeting was to shoot for the weekend prior to Thanksgiving
each year, so we are going to give that a try.

The website is not up to date yet for the new contest, but if you are
looking for a reference list or some past scenarios, you may still find
it helpful http://www.canr.msu.edu/animalwelfare/AWJC/AWJC.htm

<http://www.canr.msu.edu/animalwelfare/AWJC/AWJC.htm> Please pass this
along to any schools who you think might be interested. Remember, there
are 3 divisions: undergraduate students, veterinary college students,
and graduate students.

Just let me know if you have questions.

Kind regards,
Camie Heleski
