Season's greetings

To All My Democrat Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

To All My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)

A Very Merry Christmas to all of you at the Spearhead Ranch. A very politically correct greeting, and not wanting to offend anyone. Have a good day Soap and keep the pictures coming I enjoy seeing all the places that I used to travel. Jim

I was offended by you using the term spearhead. to me this is a direct implication of pain and suffering of an animal who was slowly killed by a savage man hunting for glory and conquest. it also make me wonder if you are trying to humiliate the native Americans who were here well before any white man and then run off so the white man could rape the land and leave it torn and ravaged for our greedy lifestyle. this "spearhead brand" is a cruel and unjust tactic of a man putting his mark on a wild beast, that once roamed free and happy, but now are no more than property that the man breeds, raises and slaughters for profit. this "factory farming" mentality...... all fences should be tore down and let the creatures roam free, while we all move back east of the Mississippi and let a true utopian world blossom on the open plains.
animals are just as deserving of a good, free life as we are.....

now, I think I will go have a steak!

Thanks, Soapweed. I am a Republican, so my message was lots easier to decipher. Merry Christmas to all from Shortgrass, and if that don't suit ya, you can just be out of sorts :D After all the constitution does not give us the right to not be offended.
