OH-OH more revelations about the real folks behind the "family values" party....

Kessler's Secret Service Book Creates Stir

Monday, July 20, 2009 3:48 PM

A new book about the Secret Service by bestselling author and Newsmax Chief Washington Correspondent Ron Kessler hasn’t been released yet, but it’s creating quite a lot of buzz.

“In the President’s Secret Service: Behind the Scenes with Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect” goes on sale August 4th, but made top headlines in the New York Post today.

The Post’s Page 6 has gotten a sneak peak at the book that is said to have the once close lipped Secret Service in an uproar.

Page Six leads with details from Kessler’s book that Secret Service agents had a tough time protecting Jenna and Barbara Bush.

Kessler reveals that President George W. Bush's twin daughters did everything they could to escape their watch.

"Jenna would purposely try to lose her protection by going through red lights or by jumping in her car without telling agents where she was going," Kessler discloses in a passage highlighted by the New York Post's Page Six column.

"As a result, in a total waste of manpower, the Secret Service kept her car under surveillance so agents could follow her."

The book also tells how Henry Hager, Jenna's boyfriend and future husband, got so intoxicated that the Secret Service had to take him to Georgetown University Hospital.

On another occasion, Hager was boozing with Jenna at a Washington, D.C., bar and picked a fight with several other patrons. Secret Service agents intervened to avoid a brawl.

Among many other revelations, Kessler discloses that Richard Nixon's vice president, Spiro Agnew, had extramarital affairs while in office, and that President Barack Obama, despite claims to have drastically cut back, still smokes regularly.

Yup....the only mention of a "D" is that the Mulatto smokes regularly. Wonder if he has an agent holding his KOOLS at all times? No mention of SSA's being mere feet away while Bill got his knob polished or did cigar tricks, or JFK having three shifts of ho's come to the WH on a daily basis, or all the cocaine that was done at the WH during the Carter administration.

The Secret Service will not come off looking good in this. You'd think some highly educated agents could keep up with 2 teenaged girls, especially with the last name "Bush", (which must be DemocratSpeak for "Imbecile").

You missed your true calling, AT. You should have been born black. You could have totally outdone Big Al and Jesse when it comes to spinning things. Remember those nasty white boys on the Duke LaCrosse team? But I'll give you credit, you stay totally on course for the "change" to socialism.

OT, if you think this somehow makes the repubs look bad you are wrong. The little bit here is about a couple teenage kids having fun, nothing I didn't do (or probably you as well) growing up. Big deal!

Here's a freebie, AT.

The Bush twins didn't get pregnant while they were single. They had Secret Service protection. Other teenage girls don't have Secret Service protection, and there are a lot of them who do get pregnant. It's Bush's fault they don't have Secret Service details for these girls who get pregnant, so it stands to reason then that all teenage pregnancies in the US are George Bush's fault! Eh????????

Exactly, it just shows how petty OT is! When I saw the first sentence and the title of the thread, I thought uhho something juicy. Then I read what OT posted it was so lame!

I think they even made an after school movie once about Presidents kid trying to shake the Secret Service. Real Softball issue here.

Teens will be Teens, but OT seems to think it is some sort of dirt.

A little girl fight in a bar can happen to anyone .

Don't you think so Oldtimer?

Yep- does quite regular...But when you turn your whole political policy/platform to being the "family value" or "moral majority" party- and a book comes out about taxdollars being spent using Secret Service men as bouncers and another of the now proclaimed "holier than thou" parties VP's having mistress's it does become a little hypocritical.....

From the attacks I got for just posting the article- I suppose the cult followers will now have to ban Newsmax as a news source since their founder and Senior Editor is the author....

OT has turned into one a Cry baby! Seems the last week or so either him or other people have been crying about him getting attacked!

You would think that someone that likes to stir the pot as much as him would man up and not be such a baby. Calling our replies to him as attacking him, my 11 year old has more back bone than that!

Don't ask me- ask woranch...It was there when I quoted it....

And MsSage- I am not a member of the party that has for the past 20 years claimed "family values" as their number 1 platform plank-- and I know a whole lot of people with more family values than those following that cult....
But they don't go around trying to legislate moral standards and promoting bedroom police-- and then look like huge fools when they are playing "tiptoe in the toilets" or get caught playing "Don't cry for me Argentina".....

BUT you claim to be a judge .....so can you sift through the BS and find the facts or are you going to keep stiring the pot?

Hail maybe she/he thought better of the post and removed it since it was a personal attack?........how about removing yours so we can STOP the school yard games?

Look it up. My wife is Filipino. No African blood in her veins. Mulatto is the proper term for someone of the Usurper's heritage.

I looked it up. The equivalent might be "half Flip" or "Asian mulatto" (there is a derogatory term for Filipinos that is "Asian nigger".

OT's point, which you ducked, is that using racially derogatory terms towards mixed race people is ugly and you of all people ought to have more sense and sensitivity.

Guess you could jsut call him a "breed". Use to be common in the old western movies. (Usually referring to half white/half indian). What ever happened to "Negroid". It use to be a very common proper word. Is it any different than Latino, Irishman, Bohemian or Pollock.

Mulatto is derogatory?

Probably not if its normal practice to go around describing people by their heritage or race-- a Chinaman (Chink)- a Swede- a Norski- a Mex- a Polock....
Many just prefer to see them all as human beings- or as the Christian faith puts forth "brothers and sisters"....

You didn't answer the question.

What do you call your kids?

If forced, I'd call them American or Filipino-American, but that would be presumptuous of me, because I have never met them.

Do you call them any of those names that Reader brought up as examples?

Retread.....the dictionary I used has 2 definitions that would apply, the third denotes a color of livestock.
Mulatto
1. The offspring of one white parent and one black parent.
2. A person whose ancestry is a mix of Negro and Caucasian.

Even though your hero technically is of Arab/American descent, the definition of "Mulatto" applies to him, in my book. Nothing is said concerning Filipinos or Asians of any persuasion in the definition. I fail to see the "ugliness" of the term.

I have never used the word "Flip" to describe Filipinos. I prefer "Bing", or, if a female, "Bingette", and, yes, I have, on occasion, demanded that my children not act like a Bing or a Bingette. Best to not get me started on the whole Filipino thing......after 20 years of marriage I could write a Doctorate on the subject of Filipinos...some flattering...some not...

And for your and Badaxe's personal information I regularly call my children "Americans". They have traveled using US passports. I know what hospital they were born in and I can readily produce valid birth certificates for them......something your hero has yet to do.
