I hope the Hillary fans are satisfied now that she is a puppet for Buckwheat.

Poor girl tried to tell the election officials that Buckwheat's minions were cheating her out of the election but the media wouldn't have it.

What was it that Hillary said? Something like; "I have foreign policy experience, John McCain has foreign policy experience, Barak Obama has a speech he gave in 2002......"

That lady has more loose ends than a crock pot full of spaghetti

At least YOU are staying true to YOUR beliefs about Hillary and not trying to use this to the whining neocons' benefit...for example

I have foreign policy experience, John McCain has foreign policy experience, Barak Obama has a speech he gave in 2002

So says Sandhusker...

I hope the Hillary fans are satisfied now that she is a puppet for Buckwheat. Rolling Eyes

So says Mike...altho I can't imagine why Spanky's and Alfalfa's friend would make a difference to him...

Not a darned one of you rightwingnuts commented on the foreign policy remarks which was why I posted this. Instead you chose to sling personal insults at Obama or Hillary or both.

Hmmm. And then you want us to stick to the topic?

All I was doing was repeating what Obama's Secretary of State said. Obviously, she didn't think he had enough foreign policy experience to be president.

As far as your article, I say this; If you think you're a leader, you might want to confirm that by looking back and see if anybody is following. It's obvious that the Obama koolaid wasn't served overseas. He's regarded globally as a weak punk, which is about right.

I read the article--I see diplomacy and development---where's the defense?
I was under the impression those were the 3 D's of the United States.

Hillary said "Clinton also warned Tehran that offer of talks would not remain long on the table. "The time for action is now," she said. "The opportunity will not remain open indefinitely."

OR WHAT?

I think you misunderstood my post--BMR hit on it. So what is our stance when they choose not to talk or change their positions? Even Albright had a "make no mistake" stance about the US taking a defensive stance, as did Rice. I was just saying, I didn't see that in this Secretary of State's comment.

She's the Secretary of State, hence her focus on diplomacy and development, the two sides of DoS which now includes USAID.

DoD and DoS were side by side at a conference called Passing the Baton about the change of administration (before January 20) at the highest levels discussing the three D's.

Thats kind of what I've been reading and hearing in the conferences from both the DoS and Dod folks like Gates and Patraeus and other high level State officials- is that the working relationship between the two agencies is much improved from the Bush infighting days (that more revelations of appear everday) and that the cooperation has never been better....
Sounds like they finally are working together on an Afghanistan plan- to not only run out the Taliban/Al Quaeda- but to win the hearts and minds of the people of the country that eventually need to take back control of their country...

R2, it sure sounds nice in a speech doesn't it. But does Hillary, Obama, Reed, Pelosi and Biden truley understand the concept of peace through strength and diplomacy through strength? You can do all the diplomacy and talking that you want to but if your enemies don't believe that you will actually push the button that will send their country back to the stone age they don't have a lot of motivation to change their course do they.

Obama and all his apologies to the world about the USA and his meetings with the South American dictators hasn't shown strength, only weakness and I am sure North Korea, Iran and the Russians are making plans to capitalize on our economic and military weaknesses.
