Seem's to Me

It seem's to me that Mc Cain's pick for vice president is spot on.I would like to have all you basher's of the pregnant daughter reflect back to when you were 16 or 17.I was living away from home working at that age and was having sex also, knowone got pregnant but that was from luck only.I had my first daughter when I was 21 now my daughter is going to have a baby in march at age 20 the boyfriend beat her up 2 month's ago and she has moved home. And due to some detective work by myself the piece of crap is safe in jail.

Some of you people need to take off your rose colored glasses and see what real people do.We work hard, play hard and if we play our cards right we get some every chance we get.

Oldtimer makes my A$$ tired with his consistant bashing of this young lady.If he's talking about his (RODEO) day's all he can brag about is all The (FUN) he had oh to be young again.Or going to the "Waterhole" sounds like an old drunk to me.

I know for a fact that my daughter was having sex at age 17 as I caught her at it but I did'nt disown her or go awall as a hypocrite. It's part of life and it has no bearing on my parenting. If the worst thing's my kids do is have sex and children at a young age I would call that a win.Hell they could all vote democrat and abort the babies like you sick liberal's do then I would disown them...

To vote Democrat you might just as well vote for communism.

Denny-- where did I bash this girl.... :???:

I feel for her... I spent years working with school counselors and with suicide intervention teams-- and I know what those kids went thru....And how many times their parents weren't much support- putting themselves and their image and lives ahead of their kids ...

I'm happy to hear that you were not one of those parents.....

No place did I bash this girl-- but I did question her mothers wisdom and decision....But like I said- that is her choice.....I only hope she realized what it was going to bring on....

The cartoon you posted and then kept bumping it up with your reply's that was a total lack of tact and taste on your part. Also if people like you would'nt make a big deal out of Mrs Palin's parentining it would'nt be.You should know what it take's to be proven an unfit parent with your court experience. Here the parent's could be the biggest drunks in the world as long as the kid's had a roof over their head and were left in resposible care there is notheing anyone could do about it...

To be honest with you all,I don't think this young lady should have been brought into this political session at all. We're supposed to be ranchers with a code. The fact thats its regressed to this sickins me.

If anyone of us were perfect youths, please start a new thread braggin about it,I won't contribute cause trust me I wasn't one of them....

Maybe the cartoon was wrong..I was using it to prove a point of what is happening out there....And like I said- that is one of the "mellow" ones...But I do believe people need to be aware of it - and the fact it is happening- and the fact the mother is being questioned by many on her reasoning....

I think this cartoon- and many others thruout the campaign is an indication of how terribly divided this country has become- to the point of being downright mean....

I'm the Libertarian here-- that doesn't believe the federal government or other folks should be sticking their noses in other peoples bedrooms, or medical decisions, or what their local schools want to teach or not teach, or who you want for a lifetime companion, or how you raise your kids (unless they are abused/neglected), or what your kids do for a living or what college they go to ... I'm one of the last that trys to portray an image- or keep up with the Jones.. Or follow the midstream because its the direction everyone else is taking....
And it does cause controversy-- but I refuse to drink the Kool Aid.....

You're about as Libertarian as Karl Marx.

You're probably right-- on some things-- and on others I'm further right than a John Bircher...Probably the reason I don't fit the mold for either cultist group anymore...I don't even agree with a several of the Libertarian views anymore...Like Lou Dobbs says--we're independents.....

Sometimes I can't say I'm much different OT. BTW I wonder how much money was pledged if Lou Dobbs had decided to run. The last I heard it was 3-4 million. I certainly would have voted for him.

Perhaps it would help if you posted a little less and thought a little more.

SR

Ps I probably should follow that advise myself.
