Self serving politicans

It is possible that a write-in campaign by Congressman Mike Castle could hurt Democrat Chris Coons more than Republican Christine O’Donnell in the Delaware campaign for U.S. Senate.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Delaware voters finds Coons with 49% support, while O’Donnell earns 40% of the vote. Castle, a longtime congressman who lost to O’Donnell in the state’s GOP Primary, picks up five percent (5%). Another five percent (5%) remain undecided. ,

I don't understand the Castle type of politicans.

He is leading in all polls before the primary and could easily take the seat from the Dems, but his party decides they don't want him and vote for his primary Opponent.

Does he man up and unite his party by throwing his support behind his party's candidate? NO, he acts like a da*n baby and puts a Republican victory and the power of the Senate at risk. He proved with his own actions, as a few other have, that he didn't deserve to win as he looks out for HIS needs and not those of the Republican party or the people he was to represent. I'm glad he was beat and I hope the libs dirt digging gives O'Donnell enough press that she over comes her Democrat Marcist opponent and gives her the win. I guess we can be happy he would be taking more votes from the Dems than he would from his own party if he throws his hat into the ring.

So please Oldtimer do that thing that you do so well and put her over the top.

Just because they used to wear an R after their name doesn't mean that they won't appeal to a number of Liberals.
My understanding they were both very Liberal RHINO's
they will take away more liberal leaning voters- no Conservative would vote for either of them.
