Technically, I guess these eleven calves which have been weaned for a month would be the very last ones to vaccinate.
Peach played the part of the Pied Piper and piloted the Polaris in the lead. She coaxed them to the corral and back again
while Yellowstone and I followed along to make sure they all cooperated.
Rewarding them with grain after they had been poked with vaccine.
We got them back just in time, as the dark rain clouds turned loose.
The weaned calves have access to a bale of second cutting alfalfa, along with their almost five pounds of 18 percent creep feed per day.
They seem to be faring pretty well on their ration.
