What I have noticed is how there will be an outburst of shrill clamor about a topic and lots of chatter and claims and then when the instigator (usually hypo) realizes that he's wrong, he suddenly falls silent on the issue.

Yes, I am wrong also, like everyone. And you can find times where I have said, I was wrong.
And probably times where like others, I kept quiet
So? The point is that hypo is leaning WAY out there on a ledge shouting out fear mongering claims that turn out not to be the case. Then he slinks away and pretends it wasn't him who said it or he didn't really believe any of it or he changes his story bit by bit.
